How we report
Every article is written for the general reader and grounded in verifiable sources: peer-reviewed journals, regulatory records, specialty-society guidance, and named clinical laboratories. We label the maturity of the evidence behind each story so you can judge how close an idea is to patient care:

- Preliminary — promising early evidence, not yet confirmed.

- Contested — scientists disagree; read both sides.
- Absent — no meaningful evidence yet.
We also cover the watchdog side: stretched claims, questionable products, and scams that trade on scientific language. When we quote a public voice — a doctor, an influencer, a company — we separate what they say from what the evidence supports.
